Chimec Inhibicor 934

Chimec Inhibicor 934 is a corrosion inhibitor for conventional petrol and E5 and E10 bioethanol petrol blends. It counteracts corrosion caused by traces of water absorbed by the ethanol, protecting tanks, pipelines and metal components. It is added to the fuel each time the depot is refilled, at a recommended dosage of 1 litre per 15,000 litres of petrol; the stated technical range is approximately 35–50 mg/kg.

• Soluble in aromatic and aliphatic hydrocarbons and in organic solvents.
• Boiling point: approximately 180 °C.
• Flash point: above 61 °C.
